Message	And the CVT works pretty well, but I like how the 2010+ Maximas work with it a lot better. Its easier to get the newer Maximas into the power range and keep it there. It was weird expecting the car to shift, but never shifting. Assuming it could hold the power, I think this type of transmission would be AWESOME with a turbo setup. As mentioned, it does get noisy (I kind of like it) when you push it. When driving normally, I dont notice it at all. I had the displeasure of renting a new Nissan Versa with a CVT and I HATED that car. With the CVT it feels like accelerates about as fast as an escalator. It takes foooorrrreeeevvvveeerrr to get the rpms up to where the car wants to be under acceleration. Its awful. My $0.02
